SCRAMBLE is a game of strategy, speed and knowledge. Your objective is to collect the greatest number of tiles before the game clock expires. Based on the SCRABBLE(TM) tile set, you compete in real time with other players to take dealt letters, re-arrange and steal words and defend your pile.

Go ahead and start playing. Click the Start button below. Then just put in your name to start or join a game. You can also play friends directly on Facebook, Bebo, Ning, Hi-5 or any social network that supports Gadgets. From there you can invite your friends to play.

Look for the instructions button on the top right corner of the game for more information about rules and strategy. Click 'Take! Steal! Defend!' to pop the game out of the browser.

If your are looking for new players, leave this page or the game window open. The game will play sounds to indicate people entering/leaving the lobby and games. For practice, play the Training Bots games. You will notice these games are always available and very challenging. The bots are tunable. You can send then commands via chat and ask them to be 'nicer' or 'harder'.
